Activation Guides

Step-by-step instructions to activate your game keys on Steam, Epic, Xbox, PlayStation, GOG, and Nintendo.

Steam

Activate Steam keys using the Steam client or website. Your key can only be used once and is tied to your Steam account.

  1. Open the Steam client on your PC, or go to store.steampowered.com/account/activateproduct in your browser.
  2. In the client: click Games in the top menu, then select Activate a Product on Steam....
  3. Click Next on the welcome screen, then agree to the Steam Subscriber Agreement if prompted.
  4. Enter your product key exactly as shown (no spaces unless they appear in the key). Use Ctrl+V to paste.
  5. Click Next. Steam will verify the key and add the game to your library.
  6. The game will appear in your Library. Click Install to download and play.
Note: Steam keys are region-locked in some countries. Ensure your Steam account region matches the key. If the key says "Already used," it may have been activated on another account—contact support if you didn't use it.

Epic Games Store

Redeem Epic Games keys through the Epic Games Launcher or website. Epics keys add games directly to your Epic library.

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher or go to store.epicgames.com/redeem in your browser.
  2. Click your profile icon (bottom left in the launcher) and select Redeem Code, or use the Redeem link on the website.
  3. Log in to your Epic Games account if you haven't already.
  4. Paste or type your product key into the redemption field. Remove any extra spaces.
  5. Click Redeem. The game will be added to your Epic library.
  6. Find the game in your Library and click Install to download.
Note: Epic keys are typically global. Some titles may have regional restrictions—check the product page before buying.

Xbox (PC & Console)

Xbox and Microsoft Store keys work on Xbox consoles and Windows PC. Redeem via the Microsoft website or Xbox app.

  1. Go to redeem.microsoft.com or open the Xbox app on Windows.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft account (the one linked to your Xbox / PC).
  3. Enter your 25-character code. Format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX (dashes are added automatically).
  4. Click Redeem. Confirm the product and complete the redemption.
  5. On Xbox console: Go to Settings → Account → Redeem code and enter the key.
  6. The game or content will appear in My games & apps or your Microsoft library.
Note: Xbox Game Pass and some subscriptions have separate redemption flows. Game keys use the standard redeem.microsoft.com page.

PlayStation (PS4 / PS5)

Redeem PlayStation Network codes on your console or via the PlayStation website. Works for games, wallet top-ups, and subscriptions.

  1. On PS4/PS5: Go to PlayStation Store → Redeem Codes (or use the "..." menu and select Redeem Code).
  2. Alternatively, visit store.playstation.com/redeem and sign in with your PSN account.
  3. Enter your code exactly as provided. PlayStation codes are usually 12 characters (e.g. XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
  4. Click Redeem. For wallet codes, the amount is added to your PSN wallet. For game keys, the game is added to your library.
  5. Download the game from your Library or the Store if it was a game code.
  6. Ensure your PSN account region matches the code region. EU keys do not work on US accounts and vice versa.
Note: PlayStation codes are strictly region-locked. Always buy keys for your account's region (US, EU, UK, etc.).

GOG.com

GOG keys activate DRM-free games. Redeem via the GOG website or GOG Galaxy client for a linked library.

  1. Go to gog.com/redeem or open GOG Galaxy.
  2. In GOG Galaxy: click the + button (Add games & friends) → Redeem code.
  3. Log in to your GOG account if needed.
  4. Enter your activation code and click Redeem.
  5. The game is added to your GOG library. You can download the offline installers or use GOG Galaxy to manage updates.
  6. GOG games are DRM-free—you can back up installers and play without the client after installation.
Note: GOG keys are typically global. Some titles may have connectivity requirements for online features.

Nintendo (Switch / eShop)

Nintendo eShop codes work on Nintendo Switch. Redeem via the console or Nintendo website.

  1. On Nintendo Switch: Open the Nintendo eShop from the Home menu.
  2. Select your user icon (top right), then scroll down and choose Redeem Code.
  3. Enter the 16-character code. Format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
  4. Click OK to confirm. The game or content is added to your library.
  5. Alternatively, go to ec.nintendo.com/redeem, sign in with your Nintendo account, and redeem there.
  6. Download the game from the eShop or from your Home menu after redemption.
Note: Nintendo codes are region-locked. Your Nintendo account country must match the code region. Gift cards (e.g. Nintendo eShop cards) may have different redemption flows.
